Not that this product needs ANOTHER glowing review... but in case you're on the fence, here it is anyway! My daughter is 6 and had maybe a handful of dry nights in her entire life prior to using this. She was wetting multiple times per night, every night. Our pediatrician said an alarm would be worth a try since there were no other medical concerns. Long story short, after about two weeks of accidents with only 2-3 dry nights, she was consistently dry for two weeks with the alarm, and now another week without the alarm! She usually makes it through the night without having to get up to go to the bathroom, but gets up and handles everything on her own if she needs to. It truly was just a behavior thing which was such a relief to us!
A couple of tips/tricks we learned from other reviews and experience:
- Use undies under a pull-up. Not only does it make clean-up a breeze, but it helped us keep the alarm secure and comfortable since the cord was pretty long for our petite girl!
- Be consistent. We used it every single night for a month. Passed up a sleepover at grandma's to do it. But it was absolutely worth the slight inconvenience!
- The first couple of nights we took turns sleeping on an air mattress in her room to help her get up and get to the bathroom. It helped her not feel scared by the alarm. After that, she was the one waking us up... eventually she was taking care of everything herself, including resetting the alarm.
Hope this helps other families - it has been wonderful for us!

Can't say enough about how much we love this product.

If you have a bed-wetter who would not freak out to waking up to a vibrating/fairly noisy alarm, BUY THIS! You will love it! We have previous experience using a wet stop on our oldest child. We borrowed one from a friend when he was 4 years old and kept wetting through his pullup at night and soaking the bed. Fast forward 5 years and our 3rd child (4 years old) is having the same problem. We have deep sleepers, so even if we woke them and drug them to the bathroom they were usually so out of it that they couldn't go and it was a waste of time. Plus, doing things like that and limiting water, etc is just treating the symptom not the actual problem (them not waking up to go to the bathroom). We were thrilled with our first son when he was dry in about a week. Never had trouble again except for random wetting maybe once every two or three months and that was usually after some big exhausting day or an illness where he was sleeping extra hard. (and the first couple nights with the wet-stop we did have to wake him even with the thing buzzing and shrieking on his shoulder!) We are on night 8 with our 3rd child (the second to use a wet-stop) and it is going well. The first night he woke right up as soon as he started wetting and came to the bathroom so a change of underwear and he was good to go. The next two nights the alarm part somehow fell off the neck of his pajamas and I had also goofed and switched it to vibrate only so he didn't wake up since there was no noise. He is a wild sleeper so I got smart and started checking to make sure the device was still in place before I went to bed. Over the next several nights he slept completely through the vibrating shrieking alarm once (no idea what the reviewers who said is was way too quiet are talking about!!) the other nights he woke up as he started wetting and came to finish in the toilet. Last night he woke up for the first time before the alarm went off so we hope that is the new trend! I fully expect him to train as easily as his brother did and be able to put the wet stop away in the closet within a couple weeks. We love the wet-stop, it was a fantastic tool to have with our heavy sleepers. Most people just recommend not letting them drink before bed, waking them up to potty, putting extra layers on the bed so it's easy to change in the middle of the night, etc but I've never been one to treat the symptom. If my child is not wetting the bed, then I won't have to do any of those things! I do not blame the parents who have sensitive children that may be terrified of the alarm, but we have not had any problems. In fact, our little test subject right now is excited to put it on each night because he gets to move out of the toddler bed and into the bunk bed once Mommy does not have to change his sheets so often (no one told me before buying a bunk bed that changing the sheets is a back-breaking chore!) He also gets a quarter each morning that he is dry or woke up and finished in the toilet. Can't say enough about how much I love this product. What parent is not ecstatic to reach the end of potty training for each child?? Anything that makes that process easier is a winner in my book!
PS - I assume this goes without saying but you never know - before you put this on your child, make sure you test it out when they are awake so that they are aware exactly what it will do and there are no middle-of-the night surprises!

I happened upon this and was a little skeptical, but decided to give it a try if it would help my son......soon to turn 6 stop peeing the bed. To date, he had never had a dry night....not once!! I was a child who, unfortunately, had this issue until I was 8 1/2, and would have loved this opportunity for myself and figured if it worked, it would be awesome 1st for my son, as he has complained for a quite a while he just wanted to wear underwear to bed and has been made fun of by a few cousins his age, and 2nd, it would be night to finally be diaper free and not have to clean bedding so often. The 1st week was a little rough, as I was having to wake in the night 2-3 times a night while the alarm went off and I had to assist my son in cleaning up when he did pee. After about 2 nights though, he would barely pee and stop peeing once the alarm went off....get out of bed and finish in the bathroom. From that night on, his underwear were barely wet when the alarm went off. But by night 10, he had his 1st DRY NIGHT EVER! He went to bed at 7:30pm and woke himself at 6:10 and went straight to the bathroom and the alarm never went off. Last night, again.....no alarm. He woke around 1:00am himself and went to the bathroom and woke after 8:00 dry again. 2nd night in a row! I am absolutely amazed how fast and well this is working! Definitely worth the buy and my son is just elated!!!
Update: We have successfully completed 5 dry nights and are heading into night 6 and believe we will get that Gold Star again! I was honestly a skeptic, but thought I would give it a try and see it through at least 3 months. Out of the 5 dry nights, 3 of them my son has held it the whole night and woke himself in the morning to head to the bathroom. 2 of the nights, I heard him get out of bed (without the alarm) and go to the bathroom. I got up to check on him and verified. So he is both holding his bladder all night and also waking as well. He will turn 6 in October and prior to this device he had NEVER had a dry night! I am truly sold that this works!
2nd Update: We have now finished 11 nights in a row dry. Since night 10, all 11 nights in a row after have been dry! So very pleased with this product, as prior to this I still had never had one dry night with my son. My son is elated! 11 Gold stars on his calendar this morning.
3RD & LAST UPDATE: My son has now had 25 nights dry in a row and hasn't wore the alarm for about a week and he is still either holding it all night or waking to go to the bathroom. We are now done with diapers or TruFit underwear and he is wearing his regular underwear all the time now to bed! I can't begin to express my gratitude for this product.....otherwise, I do not know how long it would have taken to have one dry night!!
11/21/18: This has been so effective, I thought I would give one more update. My son still does not pee the bed any longer after months. Night 9 with this device was the very last time we had to wake for pee, and I have since gotten rid of ALL diaper related items! If you are considering trying this device.....IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!
7/20/19: This will be my last update! In case you were wondering, never a wet night again after night 9! I honestly wasn't sure it would work when I ordered it and I was proven wrong and GRATEFUL for it and so is my soon to be 7 year old who has been dry for over a year now!

I am torn on how to review this because I used this on two of my sons (9 & 7) and had EXTREMELY different results. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 simply because how my 7 year old reacted to it.
We originally got this (after debating over it for way too long) for my 9 year old who was still struggling with nighttime dryness. In all fairness, if I were reviewing the product simply for him it would get five stars because it worked like a charm for him. I wish I would have invested the little bit of money on this a LONG time ago for him. After about 3 months with it we noticed a substantial difference. He went from being wet every night to one or two accidents a month as a worst case scenario. He is no longer wearing the alarm AT ALL now and hasn't for over a month. He is staying dry every night, even after drinking a lot before bed. It has trained his brain to wake when he has to use the bathroom!
Now, we have not been so lucky with my 7 year old. We started using the alarm on him as soon as his brother was done with it. He has still yet to have a dry night! He doesn't wake to the alarm. Everyone else in the house hears it but him. It can be a big pain because he and the 9 year old share a room. So it wakes him. If my 7 year old hears the alarm he simply pulls the cord out of it and rolls back over. He does not get out of bed to try to use the bathroom. It doesn't wake him enough to get him out of bed.
He is incredibly hard for me to wake when the alarm sounds and even when I get him up to use the bathroom he has no recollection of the events of the night before when the morning comes. I must give him constant step by step instructions to using the bathroom and clean up which is difficult when we have 2 kids in one room. In my honest opinion it has been more frustrating with him than I expected and I don't feel like he is learning or being trained in any way. I am just doing what I did in the past when I set my alarm and went to wake him up every so many hours. The difference is now the alarm only sounds when he pees.
That said, I think this product works beautifully for children who are not deep sleepers and can be easily aroused by sound or vibration. My 9 year old is an earlier riser, easily awaken by alarms and his brain clicks that it is time to get up. My 7 year old is the opposite.
Another factor I have considered is that my 9 year old was ready. He had expressed a will to stop wetting himself at night. He WANTED it to work. I do not get the same attitude from my 7 year old. He has just accepted wetting the bed as something that he can't control. I think the child needs to be mentally mature and ready for this product to work. It involves a great deal of personal responsibility for it to work.
So if you have a child like my 9 year old I say what are you waiting for!!!!! Buy this! You won't regret it!!!
If they are more like my 7 year old... maybe wait it out because it might just be more frustration for everyone. The child will eventually outgrow it. Or maybe invest in an alarm that cost a little more and requires them to get out of bed to turn it off.
If I could do it again I would definitely buy for my 9 year old.... not so sure with my 7 year old. It didn't cost a lot though so I might have taken the chance and hoped for the best.
Hope this review helped and Good luck!
