I purchased this for my father as a Chirstmas gift. He loves wind chimes but now lives in an area where the large metal wind chimes are too loud. These make the perfect subtle sound that he can enjoy without disturbing the neighbors. My only recommendation is when you get it, put a nice coat of water protection on if you intend to place it outside in the elements.
