Never been so excited about a trash can LOL

Lengthy review but promise it's worth the read!
This trash can made all my dreams comes true (with a little tweaking). So I have this teeny tiny space in my kitchen between the fridge and my counter. I'd be searching FOREVER for a skinny can to fit that 9.5" space that was more than 13 gallons. Finally I stumbled on this can that seemed sturdy and was 23 gallons (Yay!) However like every can id researched, it's dimensions said 11" depth (grrr). But then I saw where a gentleman reviewed the 15 gallon can and said he purchased it for an 8.5" space but he had to trip the lip off for it to fit. I thought "hmmm wonder if I could do tht with the 23 gallon can??" Well guess what ya'll ... IT WORKED!! HALLELUJAH! It's the small things in life hahaha now my trash can isn't in the middle of my kitchen floor and is out of my way! So pumped! And thanks to the man who gave the awesome review on the 15 gallon can! You the bomb! Btw, I have 21 gallons bags in the can and they work perfectly. And of course the trash bag covers up the lip where I trimmed :) it's like it never happened lol

What can you say about a garbage can? Well, I've purchased plastic garbage cans in cheap stores. They were very flexible and really thin and ugly.
This garbage can is solid and extremely sturdy. I thought the price of the can was a little high. However, it is well worth every cent. It is going to last forever. Fits right nicely in the area I want it in.

Perfect solution to something that previously drove me crazy. Btw I did figure out my typical 30 gal trash bags aren't long enough to reach the bottom! So...not having a recycling service where we live + having a partner who mainlines Diet Coke = saving lots of cans (and other recyclables) to take to the transfer station in order to recycle them. Looking at the cans drove me crazy but I can't stand being wasteful by throwing away what could be recycled, despite the fact that my work hours make it hard for me to make these recycling trips. I wanted something as tall and thin as possible because we have limited space, but I also wanted it to hold AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. This seems to be a great option. I'm going to see how long it takes to fill up and I'm excited to have something easy I don't hate looking at to chuck recyclables into. It's sturdy, very thin as others have said, and tall but not ridiculously so!

I bought this trash can because my medium/large dog kept trying to get into the old lidded trash can since it was nose height. I kept him out through vigilance, but this trash can is much taller and he can't tell what is in there. I love it! It takes full size trash bags, so be prepared for that. They were easy to remove, though, because of the way it's build somehow. The trash can is slim so it fits in the kitchen nicely. I'm living in the past I guess because the price seems a bit much for a trash can, but it is better than most of ones this size.
