Purchased this ironing board for installation in our new home. Upon arrival I turned over, in the box, to our painter, so it could be stained to match the cabinets and trim in our house. It was just installed and we discovered the door is badly warped. It bows out in the middle on the hinge side - almost 1/2" from door to cabinet.
I like the cabinet itself, just need this one issue addressed.

I am a carpenter, Installed at my home for the girlfriend. She loves it. Installed easy, well made. Accept for the door hinge, made with plastic.Hinges are working fine. Just not to sure on how long the hinges will hold up. I hope they last. Kinda cheap. I will let you know as time passes. But so far a good buy.

I wanted this for my new garage so I wouldn't have ironing needs leaning or on shelves. It works great except for the door. Sometimes it shuts tight other times it won't. I make sure there is nothing to stop it from closing but for some reason it does and other times it doesn't. I love the swivel board, I love the shelves which have enough room for a good size iron, spray bottles, etc. The board is large enough even though it is not a full size to do table clothes and such without too much hassle. I'm sure if we knew about the hinges we might be able to tweak it and make it shut all of the time? I would buy it again because it seemed the best design on the market.

Good quality for the price and easy install. Came with a nice cover and ironing pad. Other little extras on this that weren't on the one I put in at the last house - like swiveling board, a couple shelves and a metal heat guard for storing a hot iron (although I still let it cool down first).
