I new I'd have a problem when I bought a new computer with Windows 11. My old Dell Optiplex was well beyond its useful like but my photography workflow requires a calibrated monitor. My 15 year old work horse GretagMcbeth iOne Professional system does not work with Windows 11 (so much for Microsoft's claim of backward compatibility with prior Windows OS).
This colorimeter/sensor/calibrator is significantly easier to use than my old one. It is much more compact. I am very pleased with the ease of installation, ICC profile creation and ease of application to the NVidia graphics card my new computer uses.

Maybe I miss that in the description. If you use multiple monitors, you need to pick the one that the color matters for apparently. That may be generally OK, but if the monitors are different make, model, size, or age, then pick the one you use to edit photos, because that's the profile both or all of your monitors will get. I didn't realize that until I tried to move the spyder to a second screen, and it popped back to the original, which fortunately is the on where my photos are when being edited. The other screens or OK, but one doesn't have the power to be as bright as the others (and that wouldn't change anyway).
Otherwise, if you use only one monitor, for you this could be a five star. It's fast and easy, and as far as I can tell, pretty accurate.

This is a must have products for photographers and video professionals who needs color-perfect output. This device works like a charm and calibrates the monitor so you know how the output of your work will be. I tried it on my ASUS PA329C, which came factory calibrated. Turns out the monitor is properly calibrated except I need to lower the brightness to 30. Once I did that, it reached perfect calibration. A great device, and highly recommended for photo / video professionals.

You will never get monitors to match colors perfectly, but wow! I have a three Dell monitor setup and am very pleased with the final calibration results. The Elite versions allow you to enter a "Studio" mode to match other monitors to a main monitor.
Stop trying to color correct your photos on a monitor that is not color correct!!!

Every photographer needs one of these! I was amazed at how far off both my laptop monitor and my external monitor were. You can't color correct a photo correctly unless your monitor in color correct first. It will also remind you when it is time to calibrate again!
