We went on a daily sailing trip on a catamaran on the waters of Kauai in Hawaii and this kept use in good mood. We did not get any sea sickness while at sea, although it got us very drowsy and sleepy toward the last hour of the trip, to the point that I could not drive back to the hotel right away, then I had to stop twice for safety reasons and wait half an hour to get myself together.
I may have been a bit tired to begin with, but I have never felt like that the previous and following days of the vacation.
I am 147 pounds 5.9 tall and maybe the suggested dose of 2 tablets is for those that could not fit in an economy seat of an airliner, which seems to be in the majority these days, so if you are not overweight and healthy just take one tablet.
