Based on the reviews here, I bought this stuff and used in on my chimney. It doesn't seem to do anything. It's still leaving. I don't see any evidence of water-repelling. Wonder if I am getting counterfeit product.

Used it last year and this year on a large red brick building built in 1901, which was never treated. Seems to be very effective so far, minimizing crumbles and dust of red brick.
Not easy to say if it made a difference

I bought this to apply on my brick wall as a precaution. The bricks still looks the same after application, but it is difficult to say if it made a difference unless you have a problem. I applied with garden sprayer.
