This isn't my first bed cover installation but I've always used Truxedo LoPro in the past and have had ZERO complaints. While the price is reasonable on this one, the fit and finish leave a bit to be desired. I installed this on my 2009 Dodge Ram 5'7" box and can see daylight at both ends so there is NO way this thing is going to keep water and dust out...not even with the extra foam strips they include. And what is with the damn cover release being on the passenger side of the bed?? Was this thing designed in Great Britain? On a good note, they vinyl cover looks good when stretched out covering the bed and it's less expensive.

Ordered it Thursday evening, it came today (Saturday morning at 8:30am)!! That was perfect for wanting to install it before it got too hot. It took me about 45 minutes to install, plus about 10 extra minutes to make the front-to-back adjustment. You want to make sure both, the front and rear seals are positioned so that they can seal the best. Since I just finished installing it, I can't attest to it's ability to keep out rain and dust. I'll have to update my review after some foul weather. But my initial thought from examining where the seals touch the frame... I don't see it keeping the interior completely dry. Looks to me like there will be a few spots where it will leak. But, I didn't purchase this with the intent of keeping the inside desert dry. I like that it has a lock that can only be accessed when the tailgate is down. But it would be more secure if there was a lock on BOTH sides, instead of just one. The instructions for the seal strips are in with the seal strip packaging. It would be more helpful if those instructions were incorporated with the installation instructions, so that you would know at what point during the installation you need to use them. Other than that stuff- for the price, it looks pretty darn good, and feels solid. Now, only time can fill in the blanks. Good Luck!
7/17/70 Update: Dropped a Star. We had a bit of rain last week. Some water got in the bed. Not a lot. ...no biggie. But my concern right now is the customer service. I contacted them about the unevenness issue, about a week ago. They asked for photos. I'm still waiting to hear back. I'll update when/if I hear back or in a week, which ever is sooner.
7/20/17- Dropped another star. Haven't heard back yet.

This was by far the worst cover I ever owned and will never purchase a tonno pro cover again. The aluminum was cheap and already bent on the corners at delivery due to poor packaging. There were 2 tiny deficiencies in the vinyl reguardless of how small. It was a brand new product and should not have been there. The instructions say to remove the rubber weather stripping on inside of rails if you have plastic bed caps. So I did. It rained that night and leaked like crazy. Would have been better off to leave them on. Overall this was my third tonno pro product in the last couple years and they have degraded in terms of quality. The fit and finish was just not there. I would recommend another brand.

I had one of these Lo-Roll covers that was given as a gift and was excellent for a few years. Recently, the stitching on the cover began to come apart allowing water to get in and making it difficult to roll up because the support bars kept falling out of the cover itself. I called to try and obtain a replacement cover, since all other parts were fine. They told me that they didn't sell replacement covers (only warranty, which I couldn't get because I wasn't the original purchaser) and gave me 2 alternatives: 1- purchase the whole kit because it was on sale; 2-look for used ones on eBay. This really bothered me because I just wanted to purchase a replacement cover. Despite all this, I still gave them the business after debating for a few weeks and ordered a new one. New cover install was easy and the cover seems just as good and identical to the last one. Cover great, customer service needs some work.

Cover went on very easy. I've owned Access covers in the past so I was a little surprised to see such a big gap (1/2 - 3/4 inch) between the cover and the tail gate once the cover was snapped down. I looked at pictures on their website and that is how its suppose to be. There is a weather strip that seals that gap sewn into the snap down rail. The only headache with this is that every time you close the tailgate, you have to release the cover, close the tailgate then lock the cover back down. This allows the weather strip to come down onto the tailgate. If you open and close the tailgate without doing this, the weather strip gets pushed inside the bed against the tailgate allowing water to get in.

Other than this, the cover seems to be made of a good material and the hardware seems very sturdy. For the price, its a good cover. I just wish Tonno Pro would have taken a page from Access and made the cover come right down onto the tailgate.
