Recommended. Great product and looks sleek.

Way better than the cheap one installed at the factory. Easy to install and walrus great. Looks much better. We have aluminum siding so purchased the 1.5 inch depth. Had to do a tiny bit of trimming to make it fit. Had it in quickly. Longest part was fooling with the butyl tape and caulking it.
It's beautiful, BUT....have a jigsaw handy.

Yeah, now that I'm done installing it, I'll go ahead and give this 4 stars. I should give it 3 because it is not a drop-in replacement. You will need tools (jigsaw) to get this to fit properly. Once you do, it's awesome. Much better looking and still allows plenty of airflow despite the narrow profile.
Good quality

Very Solid compared to others. You will instantly realize the quality of this item when you hold and examine it.
High end product

Great fit and finish. Much better quality than the usual style.

It took a little trimming and adjusting, but this replaced our cracked, air leaking (LOUD ON THE ROAD!) vent. We then took it on a 2,400 miles trek and it was never once on my mind, so must work great! It will be hard to open to allow the vent to be used (it's high up and is a tight fit on ours, but I think it's the way our RV is designed that causes that). I will never use the vent hood in our RV, so the fact that it stays closed is no big deal. If I'm going to cook something that needs venting, I will either do it ourdoors or with the windows open in the RV. My goal was to seal that hole closed to I didn't have to listen to the road noise while on the road, and this is perfect. Good quality, nice, thick plastic. Should last until the weather weakens the plastic to the point of brittle, but I am hoping that is 10+ years.
