Awesome knife!

Mora knives are cheap, but are incredibly well-made for being so cheap. I've no doubt that I can abuse this blade without worry of the construction loosening up or the blade warping. Despite that, I still probably would avoid banging the pommel against anything harder than it since it's not hard wood or metal. I'm not too certain, but with the striker removed, it almost seems like you could use the bottom bit to break glass in an emergency (DON'T take my word for it though). Very sharp right out the package, and with a nice edge that seems like it'd be easy to sharpen. The scabbard is very sturdy and keeps the blade snugly kept inside. The fire striker is pretty decent, but naturally for the type of striker it is it requires a lot of effort or very good tinder to start a fire; I like to use the back of the blade to strike it. Overall, big thumbs up mostly for the knife, but the fire striker is definitely a nice, non-intrusive add-on.
Wow

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much from this product. I bought it because I love camping and being outdoors, and I like survival gear especially. The moment I removed this from the package, I was impressed. It's sturdy, very sturdy, and beautifully made. Sturdy plastic, strong metal, and a good Ferro rod. I have to admit, the unpolished look and texture really does help with the striking of the Ferro rod, the spine is rough especially for this purpose. The ferro rod stays in place well, and the clip holds tight on my belt loop.
Great knife and ferro rod

Great knife and ferro rod. This is essentially the "lite" version of a Sandvik Buschcraft knife, which I have in hi-viz orange. The ferro rod fits snug with a slight twist to lock in place. The ferro pulled against the fixed spine and the blade created a nice little shower of sparks. Great combo and I will buy more as gifts to others and even myself to put in various camping and fishing kits.

Baby light my fire! nice knife well made and not too heavy, a nice carry weight. The extra feature of the fire starter is an extra bonus
and indexes into the handle with a positive click. Not designed as a ax or force driven cutting tool but instead a very
good knife to carry in a get and go bag or while hiking.

Super sharp and super spark, very pleased.

Wow. The blade is sharp enough to slice paper and the fire starter makes a good spark. I never knew there was such a product until I saw this on a daily deal. Waiting for it to go on deal again to get my outdoor happy daughter for Xmas. Bright safety green makes spotting it easy. A great gift for any outdoors lover.
