This product works for my 3 Golden Retrievers. I have used another product but the results were not very good. I went back to Joy Pet.

Love Petzlife Oral care products. THEY WORK (and I have tried dozens of other products from different brands of doggy toothpaste to water additives). That said I did find the Gel more effective than I have found the spray, so far. I have been using the spray for a couple of weeks now twice a day as directed, and have seen very little difference in plaque build up so far. Thats okay, these products are supposed to take a month for full results BUT a couple of years ago I had purchased the gel, and using it twice a day as directed, the moderate plaque build up that had formed on my 10 year old standard poodles teeth started flacking right off in less than a week! I became a dye hard Petzlife fan right there and then. The only reason I decided to switch to the spray was because I found the gel a little impractical (consistency was quite slippery when using your fingers to get it on the gemlike). The spray is quite handy, but as stated; two weeks in and I'm not seeing the same results I saw with the gel... So my personal final thoughts are; Gel for plaque removal, Spray for maintenance... I'll post an update if by the 30 day mark the spray hasn't fullfilled its duty and left my Leila's teeth as gorgeous as the gel had.

GOOD PRODUCT

Dogs teeth are looking great, I have three dogs one of them needs a dental three times a year. You all know what that cost this has cut it down to once a year. Great great stuff. I also use the water additive.

This spray is all natural. When I saw the ingredient list, I had my doubts that it would do much. I brush my chihuahua's teeth with Top Performance ProDental 3-5 times per week. I use the Joy spray every evening (tho directions say to use 2 times daily).

I didn't expect to see much plaque removal, if any. Her teeth are very badly coated with thick plaque. But I figured that the spray would at least soothe her gums. I do manage to get a bit of plaque off each time I use the scraper (1 time per week). I'm sure her crunchy food and treats take off a bit more.

I thought I'd be spending a lot of money to get her teeth professionally cleaned. Not something I can easily afford. I'm now confident that, tho it will take a few weeks or even months, I will be able to remove the plaque at home. Since our vet options are limited, I'm glad of this. Unfortunately, the closest vet is part of a corporation; I find them to have little empathy.

I highly recommend this spray.
