Used more than 60 of these clips (bought a couple of test packs earlier) to hang long electrical extension cords (for window candles) horizontally on wall just above baseboard heating elements. These cords previously lay on the floor, tucked under rug edge under the heating elements, but had a tendency to slip out so they became a potential hazard for anyone walking by with crutches, cane or walker. I called the 3M help phone to make sure these clips could be mounted in a different direction (instructions insist the tabs be pulled "down" to remove them, but I couldn't do that if they were mounted just above heaters - I needed reverse orientation and pulling "up") and they said OK as long as tabs were pulled straight in the appropriate direction.
I spaced them far (26 - 28 inches) apart, since there was no worry about cords looping down - they just rest on top of the heating element frame where it doesn't get hot.

Ordered a few packs for cable management under my desk. They are easy to add the sticky backing to and adhere to the surface. They hold wires and have not fallen yet. The only downside is the adhesive side for the clip isn't adhesive the whole length of the strip. The last quarter of the strip length has no adhesive and serves no purpose being there for holding on to the clip. The opposite side of the strip that adheres to what ever surface runs the full length.

I have needed these in my office for AGES!!! So glad they came up on a random search. They keep my cords perfectly, exactly like I imagined when I was hoping that something like this existed. And they're Command brand, which means they'll last, they'll stay stuck tightly, and I can remove them easily if I ever want/need to. I have no doubt that they'll serve me perfectly for several years, maybe decades.
