When I buy lights I always always always hope the unravel is simple and tangle free. And yes here it is tangle free. They are light (as in weight lol) to hang without help. I put them above my front door. The blue is a deep dark blue which is vibrant don't know how to describe it is like the photo which is the weird part cuz in person there's just something to the lights to where I can't describe any better without you just having to see them. I guess it's a blue I hardly ever see so it's surprising to me. So anyway yes I have it above front door , I will purchase the white one next time and probably another blue one to give a real winter wonderland feel during Christmas time and put it on my balcony this time. Oh and also if you have babies this is a real great distraction for them, like a trance almost . Hey gives me a break I got two a 25 month old and an 11 month old. I needs all the breaks I can get !!

I first saw lights like this at the National Zoo. My wife and I loved the effects. I ordered these as soon as we got home. Once installed they were amazing!. The effect is like no other and I think the lights can be used for many functions., indoors or out.
We live on an Alaskan Island were 70 MPH winds and rain are a common winter occurrence. These lights stood up to those and then some.
I also received many great comments from our neighbors and folks that drove by.
These were the only ones on the island so I am betting there will be many more next year!

We first saw these types of lights when we went to a Christmas show this year. The lights run in a pattern from top to bottom and give the impression of either raindrops falling or a meteor passing through the sky. They are absolutely gorgeous. We bought four sets of 8 lights each in blue and they are very unique. Our other our door lights are white so they provide a great background for these. We are not fans of blinking lights and these should not be confused with blinkers. We plan on buying more next season. In addition, these lights can be used to highlight any night time event throughout the year. I am a very satisfied buyer and recommend them highly.

I ordered 16 sets of these lights. We have only used 10 sets but have had a couple of issues. First, I had five sets connected and they worked properly for about a week. Then, they all stopped working. I haven't done any troubleshooting, as they were too high in the tree, but my only assumption is the power adapter, or first string, stopped working and resulted in nothing else having power. Also, I tested every string prior to putting them in the trees and they all worked. Once I got them outside, and in the trees, I realized the third of five strings was much dimmer than the rest. It has to be an issue with that string, because the last two strings were as bright as the first two. I noticed that I received two types of packaging in my order, and wonder if I have a mixture of models/manufacturing dates that might result in different looking lights. I suggest testing everything beforehand, INCLUDING viewing them in a dark room to ensure they not only work but also look the same. The product looks great when they are working and at the same brightness. Unfortunately, it seems like there are real quality issues here. At Christmas, I had one tree completely out and the other looked weird due to the dim string of lights.

I got a lot of compliments on these at Christmas. I hung them inside because it's been absolutely freezing and I wasn't sure they'd survive. But, the plug is very short for these, maybe about a foot if that from the actual light itself, so unless you have a plug already up high from other lights or an outlet, you'll need an extension cord. But very pretty!!
Also, I gave 4 stars because right out of the packaging, one of the lights completely fell apart. It was easy to figure out how it went back together, but still a little concerning for opening a brand new item.
