Some nights they last a little longer than 7-8 hours but sometimes they cut out about 7-8 hours in. It really just depends. But that is fine since the sun sets by 5 PM here and they go out at about 12-1 AM when usually not that many are around to see them anyway at that time of night. Also, some days have been cloudier. I live in a modest upstairs apartment and these wrapped perfectly around the railing of my balcony and are perfectly visible to those around the area. My only real complaint is these things are basically shaped like ninja stars and the fairly sharp tips cause them to get tangled with each other VERY easy and they can also poke you quite a bit if you are not careful. Took me a long time to untangle, and then once they were untangled, they easily tangled once again when I had barely touched them. Just be careful and patient.

Not your high end solar product but still very nice for the money. They were smaller than I thought but still agin nice product for the money. They came last night fully charged which made it easy to set up in the darkness. They look really nice and are really bright and colorful. They were still lit this opening when I got up for work. I'm glad I bought 2 sets because again a lot smaller than I thought but bought 1 sets for the measurements of the cord. Just be careful as they will tangle easily but if you pull them apart in the house like long strands and hold them in your hand you will be okay. If they get a little tangled just gently shake them with one wire in each hand they will untangle pretty easy. So far I am very pleased with this product but then again I've only had them one night. You cannot beat the price and trust me when I say they light up bright and pretty. Well worth the purchase.

I really love these lights. We don't have a ton of sun in the winter where I live but these little guys soaked it up beautifully and provided a ton of joy through the season. The colors are bright and the snowflakes are small (2 inches or so) and very cute. I recommend these as a more environmentally friendly way to decorate your home for the winter.
