Dollar for dollar this is one of the best pedal purchases I have ever made. I had made the decision to quit using my Vox amp at church because I got tired of fighting the sound guy about it (seriously, it wasn't TOO loud!) so I bought this amp simulator pedal. I literally have not used my amp since the first time I put the AC TONE at the end of my signal chain before it went to the PA. Does it sound *exactly* like my Vox amp? No. However, it sound awesome enough to not carry the amp outside my home anymore and the lowered stress of not fighting with the sound guy all night is a big plus!

I really love this ts clone. They sound fantastic. This is my second one because I messed the first one up trying to swap the diodes out for germanium. The board is very fragile, I read a forum about it and didn't pay attention, which is on me for not being more careful. I am leaving this one alone because I love the sound of it. Great pedal. Would definitely recommend and purchase again if I need another one.

Fantastic sounding pedal. In fact, I think it's the best overdrive pedal I have ever used. This pedal going into a Joyo American Sound directly into a PA constantly brought great comments from the sound man. I usually used it for milder overdrive since that's what the music I played with it called for, so I won't really comment on the higher gain sounds. I have other pedals (and a good amp) for that.
I haven't owned any variation of the pedal this design is based on (OCD pedal) but I have heard lots of demos from the OCD and this pedal sound quite different, smoother and with more pleasing highs, more lows (the OCD doesn't have a lot of lows) and just a smoother overall sound.
I'm taking one star away because my pedal died after a couple of years of me using it a lot but always taking good care of it.
I've been meaning to get another one. For the price, even if it dies and you have to replace it every few years, it's still worth it...

This little pedal will fool you. It's Excatly what I wanted without spending more on a high end pedal or an amp that has built in tremolo . I wanted it for my Epiphone p93 Riviera which I bought because I wanted a Grestch hollow body. This gives it the same exact Duane Eddy sound that I wanted . I rate it five stars because of not only the price but it's simple and will take about any power supply you can find . And as soon as you turn it on the little led light lets you know how fast the rate is. You take this and add enough reverb to give it a hollow sound and you got it.
I hope this helps another customer in deciding because I don't see how anyone could complain. I kinda don't understand the pit bull dog on it but who cares.

Over Drive! I've been playing Bass for a few years now. I have access to a variety of gear thanks to my partner. I've tried amps with tube pre's, pedals such as TECH21 BDDI, Leeds, VT, MXR Bass Distortion... ALL difficult to find MY TONE with. After seeing YouTube reviews comparing the Joyo to the Fulltone OCD I figured for $30.00, how can I go wrong? I LOVE this pedal! It doesn't tone-suck when bypassed, is easy to dial in, has a hi/low switch, easy battery swap compartment... And it's built like a boutique pedal! I just may build an all Joyo pedal board! \m/
