After a couple of cuts the swivel knob becomes loose and must be tightened, and after several cuts the cutting wheel slips to the side and has to be reset to vertical. However; I discovered that making one cut clockwise and the next cut counter clockwise eliminates both problems. After I started alternating the direction of rotation this device worked great. It makes cutting circles ever so much faster. I also discovered that I need only one relief cut and then use my running pliers to break the waste glass away from the circle.
I took the advice of other reviewers and placed a rubbery lining to hold the glass still and it works beautifully.

This was sent to me very quickly. I pulled it out of the box and made a circle cut on stained glass my first try. I see lots of circles in my future. Thank you for the great service.

I never quite mastered the art of cutting glass circles. This device isn't that easy to use.
The cuts are not always clean and I have to use a sander to smooth the edges.
