This shelf is servicable but not very attractive, and the metal is thin enough that it doesn't look as sturdy at it is. It certainly is inexpensive but doesn't have the nice finish I was looking for. In an industrial setting, like a kitchen or warehouse, it would be fine.

The steel shelf arrived on time, double-boxed, in perfect condition. It's a beautiful, rich red, nicely finished. Four metal screws were included. The steel is thick enough to hold heavy items without deforming. The label is on the back of the shelf, where it will be hidden by the wall. Perfect for my needs.

Considering the price ($30) I find the quality very disappointing. The edges are rough. The paint has a visible orange peel on one side and fades on one end. It has two imperfections that look like scratches but are covered with coat. It's a folded piece of metal, how hard can it be to get it evenly finished?
