Fast service from distributor! Thanks! These strips provide all the real needed info for keeping your pool chemically balanced. I like that the product gives you free as well as total chlorine. And they appear quite accurate as I always check balance with strip before taking water in for an "official" check at pool store----Strips always show what "professional" testing shows.
Did I get a dud pack?

Surprised by the good reviews hear. These strips are continuously inaccurate with ph and alkalinity. I always do a test immediately prior to taking a water sample to Leslies Pool. Thier pro test almost always results in a normal or slightly high ph reading, where these strips always show both the alkalinity and ph are low.
Handy little tool

I find it very useful for measuring chlorine levels. So much easier and faster than liquid test kits. Ph seems about 0.2 higher than taylor and local store test kit. Alkalinity seems pretty good. My water is really hard and hasn't been replaced in a long time so hardness and cyanuric acid are way high, i can't comment on it. I use this twice a week, use the liuqid tester every two to three weeks for ph and alklinity. And take a sample to the local store from time to time.
Best I've tried...

I have a swim spa and use it frequently year round. Keep a regular check on the water quality. I've used a number of different brands but like this one best. Larger than some. Easy to read. This will become by regular brand.
Great test kit

I found that your kids if given the opportunity will dump out ALL the strips and put them in interesting wet locations all around the house. Of course this happens during major chemical adjustments. Better buy two and hide one.
