works sooo good
rxbobSeptember 1, 2017
works soooo good I want to buy somemore and do the entire bathroom floor.
I watched the video on youtube and decided that this product was the one I needed for my marble floors. They were professionally done about 7 years ago and looked great after that. The pros said that it would probably last about 5 years and it did, but it was time to redo them but I really don't have the money to have the pros back. just recently I made the big big mistake of spraying an area of my bathroom with a vinegar water solution to get rid of some ants. (that didn't work) but what it did do was etch the marble that the overspray came into contact with. little spots of etched marble. so I researched products and this one, for the price appealed to me. I just used it and all the spots are gone. in just 2 minutes. the one problem is that now the rest of the floor looks bad, I know we've all done this you fix one thing and the things around it look bad so I just I'll be buying more product. and a waxer/polisher and hope I can do alittle at a time.
If your countertop is honed stay away, far away

Extremely disappointing product. I've reviewed countless products on Amazon. I buy on average 80-100 products a year strictly for personal use. Four months ago we built a large addition on our home including a new kitchen. We installed honed Carrara marble countertops. We love the look, though we knew full well they stain easily. We had granite before which simply does not stain. The installers sealed the marble. Last month I sealed them again with Tenax, purchased on Amazon. We have hard water. Placing a sweating glass down and leaving it for an hour or so is enough to leave an indelible ring on the marble.

I was initially very happy to find this product and the number of positive reviews. I received it a day or so ago and had at it last evening. I watched the YouTube video and used it exactly as shown.

Not only did it NOT remove the ring I tried it on, it made the area surrounding the ring shiny, essentially removing the honed finish. The countertop in that area now looks terrible.

Caveat emptor.
Lots of work but good results..

Wow did this take a lot of work. Each time I used a spoonful I scrubbed and scrubbed for about 8-10 minutes. I had 2 large etched areas which were caused by the bottom of a plastic bottle of Head and Shoulders shampoo. Nothing else I did worked n the bathroom marble counter top. I did not give up so easily as each 8-10 minutes of rubbing showed a little better results, maybe 5-10% better with each application. Then I used a power scrubber from black and decker and allowed that to do a lot of the work as well. This is not an easy process and I can see why most people give up. I would say in total I put almost 2 hours of work into this using lots of pressure...but in the end the etching was gone and the sink looks bright and shiny and crystal clear. I then sealed it again with a Tenax marble sealer... Yeah this was long and hard but I was motivated by being able to see slightly better results after each application...don't give up..just keep working at it. Use pressure and a power scrubber if you have one..
This stuff is amazing!

I so wish I had taken before and after pictures! This product is truly amazing. First, I thought my bathroom counter was ruined when a container of corrosive cleaner was set and left on the counter. The result was a large, deep, white, scratchy etched mess. So I went to YouTube and saw the video for this product.

I read a few of the Amazon reviews. One of the reviews recommended that I use a B&D car buffer and later seal the marble with granite sealer (get the SCI Spray-N-Seal Sealer), so I bought all three things from Amazon for a total of $85. That was cheap in my mind, because I was concerned about home resale value. That etch mark was huge and it was right near the home entry. I applied the solution as shown in the video (with little to show for it), then I followed the advice of one of the reviewers, buffing it with the car buffer. I used the towel-type cover. It was a little hard to control, but because some of the solution was embedded in the towel, it worked. Everytime I lifted the buffer, I noticed more and more of the etching smoothing out. When enough of it had been smoothed, I stopped and cleaned the counters with water and then worked on sealing it.

Seriously, other than a couple of spots that I missed, you can't tell the counter had ever been damaged. This is truly an amazing product. And even though they market it for minor etch marks, mine was anything but minor, and it still worked! Like the reviewer who used a buffer stated, I don't think it would have worked without the buffer.
Works perfect on marble

Works perfect on marble. If the scratches are too deep, then you need to sand it with very fine sandpaper first. It works and I think those who say it doesn't work are either using it on stone or tile other than marble or they are using the liquid in the jar rather than the grit at the bottom. The liquid is just water and won't do anything, the stuff on the bottom is the polishing compound. It is impossible for this stuff not to work if used on normal marble in the proper way. For large counters, I use it with my orbital sander and a polishing pad.
