Just ordered my second Deluxe Shavewell Mirror. No, you won't be able to get 3/4X magnification, but you will get a clear and non distorted image on a mirror that will not break, fade, scratch or mar in any way [like the other shave mirrors that I have owned]. This mirror is extremely durable. It gives you a MORE THAN ADEQUATE, non distorted facial image so that shaving in the shower is a plus. I do not bother getting the mirror to water temperature to combat fog. Trick that swimmers use is take a small dab of baby shampoo [inexpensive], rub it on mirror, BOOM you are set to shave in a clear fog free mirror for the next half hour if you need to!! Permanent hook to hang is permanent . Will not fall off. However if you prefer to move mirror around for better lighting. get the little suction cup with hook in hardware store-mirror has nice size hole to accommodate .

I use these in my shower at home, and carry one on all my travels. It is the best for me. Yes, it will fog up, but the truth is that they all fog up, regardless of claims by the manufacturer.
I leave it in the shower while I take a shower so it can get warmed up some, then I let water run directly over it front and back to warm it further, and then wipe it "sort of" dry, hang it on the suction cup, and get on with shaving.
I keep a spare or two, in case I decide one has become blemished over many years of use, or I leave one in a hotel room. I am especially happy with the simple, lightweight design. I don't need or want any plastic frames or attached suction devices to complicate what works perfectly as a simple flat mirror with a hole in it for hanging.

Was using a Z'Fogless mirror, which replaced a Showertek. This might be my favorite.
The Showertek was a pain because it leaked all the time and used a bit of water pressure.
The Z'Fogless is a very nice unit comparatively. It's bulkier, and the light is worthless. The reservoir works well/ I'd only have to put in fresh water once unless I was taking a very long shower. The mirror was made of a very chintzy material. It gave a "funhouse" mirror effect around the edges.
The Shave Well mirror might need to be re-heated once or twice during a long shower, but this had the best quality mirror of all of them. It's simpleness also looks very nice on the wall. The price can't be beat! My favorite so far.

Awesome little gizmo that hangs in your shower. Yes it does get wet, yes it does fog up, but you simply remove it from the hook (the mounting is a hook with double sided tape on it) and rinse it off in the shower. Once wet and warm- it wont fog up. You can then see what you are doing when shaving and can not only do a better job, but wont cut yourself.
I used to get cut everytime and I like shaving in the shower. If you don't cut yourself, you are more coordinated than me or are not using a safety razor. they do a better job but require you to watch and see what you are doing.

Great Shower Mirror

I bought this based on the company's awesome customer service response to another (negative) review and I have not been disappointed. It works exactly as you would expect; it's a mirror, so it mirrors. Like anything that is room temperature, including the shower, shower door, etc., it will fog up when hanging in the shower. However, one quick spray with the water and it's crystal clear and stays that way the whole time I shave.
Instead of the provided hook, I wanted to use something less permanent, so I purchased a suction cup hook from my local big box retailer.
To prevent overall damage and generally keep the mirror clean, I dry it off after use and store it in a drawer instead of keeping it hanging in the shower. The big hole at the top of the mirror makes the process of hanging/un-hanging a non-issue.
Instead of the provided hook, I wanted to use something less permanent, so I purchased a suction cup hook from my local big box retailer.
To prevent overall damage and generally keep the mirror clean, I dry it off after use and store it in a drawer instead of keeping it hanging in the shower. The big hole at the top of the mirror makes the process of hanging/un-hanging a non-issue.
