I ordered the green and was sent the light blue with flowers instead. I have to send this back and exchange it now, missing the birthday party it was intended for. The product itself seems like it would do the job intended.

Bought this for my 5 year old's new LeapPad 2. That poor thing has been dropped so many times I cant even count, but when you remove this cover, it still looks brand new. If you spend the money to get a young child a device like this, most definitely spend a few dollars more and get them this cover. It has saved the poor overused, overdropped LeapPad.

If you love your child and you want to make sure their things are kept from being destroyed should it go bouncing down the stairs, make sure you get one of these. They totally make the LeapPad last longer without ever scuffing it up and apparently it has some shock resistance to withstand a stairway adventure.

I bought this Gel Skin with the Carrying Case for the LeapPad2 for my grandson who is going to be 2 shortly. I can not tell you how many times he dropped it or was walking and fell with it in his hand and no damage at all. I am so happy with it. I thought it would get the LeapPad hot (hold the heat in) and result in it overheating or burn out but that hasn't happened. I am not sure if it is because of the limited time he uses it or because it just isn't going to happen anyways. It was a snap to put on and it stays on. I know I love it and the extra protection it provides while leaving all the buttons/plug-ins easy to get to.
