Hurricane chisels have always proven to be well made tools

after 1 week of use the tool has come apart and falls out of the handle, also you have to sharpen after every few minuets doesn't stay sharp very long at all,
Weak steel

This would have been second day of using and it broke at the handle while roughing a small bowl. Very disappointed.
A fine roughing gouge
Pastor DonJuly 24, 2017
This is a fine roughing gouge. I use it almost daily, and certainly on every project. It holds its edge well and shears well. I've had to sharpen it many times, but that is from frequency of use rather than failure to hold an edge.
Value as expected.

Value as expected. You can buy better if you have the money, but for the price / functionality it is a good deal. As a casual lathe user, I was glad I bought it.
