These bags rip at the top with very little use. I bought this huge package of replacement bags for my Oreck commercial XL vacuum and these bags are junk. They rip at the top and you not only have to pull out the ripped bag, but you also have to vacuum out the outer cloth bag as the dust/dirt from the ripped hole settles into the outer bag. I'm not sure if there is an adhesive issue or maybe there should be an expiration date for bag use. The unused bags should still be good when kept in their sealed outer plastic bag which is what I did. I'm not thrilled with the performance of these bags at all and cannot recommend them. I wish I took photos of the biggest mess when I first found the first bag that had ripped. The attached photo shows a bag that was used once.

The price of these bags on Amazon are unbeatable, to top it off with 2 days shipping - now that is a no brainer! I buy these regularly a few times a here for a few properties, and since they are so cheap and make the vacuums work much better it is a good idea to change them regularly if you can. I have had a couple bags break on me, but that was more due to overloading the bag with too much debri. Overall, I highly recommend this bag!

My photos of former packaging/bag (left) along side the new bag (right), shows that the new bags will fIt the following Oreck XL Upright Models: XL100, XL200, XL888, XL988. XL2000, XL5000. XL5300, XL8000, XL8300, XL9000, XL9100, XL9200, XL9300, XL9400, XL9800 and Commercial Series. I happen to have an XL9100C and the new bags are and exact fit.

I gave an ORECK Professional a try on a difficult job...a ninety pound shedding Husky-Malamute who loves to bring dust in with him. Other vacuums had to be taken apart while cleaning, or broke completely. The coarser hair clogged in them. Oreck surpassed all others I've tried, including Shark and Hoover. I was surprised at how great it makes even the dirtiest carpet look new! I know it is surprising to see a bag vacuum after decades of Bayless, but this worked above and beyond. I'm thinking of another one for work! Thank you Amazon Prime and Oreck for a great savings on a good investment vacuum!!! ORECK CLEANS UP WELL!

These did not fit my Oreck XL. I don't understand why but these bags say they fat XL models without bag docks. Apparently my XL has a bag dock. Who knew there were so many different types of Oreck XL. So if your vacuum has a thing that pulls out where your supposed to slide the back in and then close/snap it into place then these WILL NOT fit. They just have a tiny adapter that you just press into your vacuum and it does not fit mine.
