Safest vacuum for soot

This is the Cadillac of vacuums for heating appliances, chimneys, and more. Double filtration means no nuisance dust associated with wet/dry vacuums. The sootmaster is tough - no thin metal here. Just about every part on the unit is metal less the caster wheels. Unit comes with an inspection tag, warranty card, manual with parts list, canvas hose, casters, and a nickel plated crevice tool. Consider buying the flexible metal hose with your purchase to reach small cracks and tight spaces. If you have ever had the unfortunate experience of an ember catching the paper vacuum filter on fire, then you can relate to why I say it is the safest vacuum because it is made of steel, not plastic.
This 641M is the baby of the Sootmaster line up. Larger sizes are available depending on job requirements. It is an expensive soot vacuum, but as always, you get what you pay for. Amazon offers a terrific price on this unit with very reasonable shipping charges. If you have been frustrated with your existing soot vacuum, or need an upgrade this is definitely a well built vacuum that you will have for years.
