just sprayed my couches the other day, havent had any spills on it since i have sprayed it so i havent been able to fully test this product and if it works. The reviews were correct about the smell, it is strong but with fans and open windows the smell lasted a whole 5mins until the product was dry. The reviews of this product were really helpful and what pushed me to purchase this product, im glad i did. if i need anymore i will definitely buy again!

Great Water Resistant Properties made Scotchgard my first choice. Did my baseball caps - parka - fleece windbreaker. Totally clear - no ordor - and no real change in fabric properties. Helps repel light rain showers - heavy dew/fog - - eliminates need for extra poncho cover.

I purchased this Scotchgard Fabric Protector to use on a new suitcase with a pale blue fabric covering. After a trip "across the pond", the suitcase was dirty from the plane, trains, and buses that it was stored in during the two-week period. Once home, I washed it and left it in the sun to dry. All the stains didn't come off, but the majority did so that the case was presentable once again.
