I find myself questioning why I like these fancy deep red shop rags so much.
Are they lint free? Oh, not remotely. The product ad copy suggests using them to do detail work on the interior of a car. That's not a good idea, because you would get red lint balls everywhere.
Are they softer than more pedestrian shop rags? I think they may be, yes. More absorbent? I doubt it. More luxurious? No, they're basically just red shop rags, with the usual coarse, low thread count weave, and edges that snag on everything and fray.
I think I have to admit I like them, because they're a prettier red than usual. Nothing more, nothing less. You have to love the well-written add copy that are wroten in most honorable transration though.

We use these towels in the kitchen instead of paper towels for most uses. They work better than paper towels and do more. I have several on the counter while I cook. I can use one folded up as a hot pad, blot fish fillets dry with one before frying, peel vegetables on them and easily scoop the peelings into the trash, squeeze water out of vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms, use them as a spoon rest, and quickly dry my cutting tools to keep the blades sharp. They are inexpensive enough that if one gets really disgusting after cleaning up spills I can throw it away without feeling too bad. They were way less expensive than kitchen wipes, dish towels or dishcloths and work just as well. I do still use regular dish towels to dry dishes, though, since they are larger. I also keep some microfiber cloths for deep cleaning of counters and appliances. These shop towels are best for quick wipe-ups and the other uses I mentioned above. They get washed in the kitchen towel load.

As expected. Quick delivery on these fairly small, rough shop rags. I ran several through the washer to reduce any lint, and will use those for staining projects. The rest will be used as rags in the shop. Gotta love having rags when you need them.
