Perfect for the rain and and thickness of the fleece is a perfect wind blocker. I just wish the flap that covers the peep hole to check on the baby was wayyyyy bigger than what it was. If I put the flap down, wind is still able to seep in there and I want to avoid that. My baby is gassy enough, I don't need any air getting inside. I always have to use a blanket to cover his face than put this on top. It's ok. I don't plan on repurchasing for later use or anyone else.

So I just got this item today and it was snowing a little bit so I thought I would try it out. My little guy hates having a coat on in the car seat. He also hates the lined bundle me car seat covers that go inside the seat. They always made him too hot so I thought this one would be perfect being that it doesn't line the inside of the seat.

The first thing I realized is that we have a Graco SnugRide 40 and the fit is a little snug it doesn't really go all the way up over top of the top of the seat with any extra slack. After putting it on and putting the baby inside I love this to access zippers but I feel like after closing the zippers the hole is just a bit too small and where the outside of the hole is tends to hit the baby in the face a little bit if he's moving. I put the seat in the car and I have a pretty active six month old. Within about 5 minutes he had kicked so much that he kicked the bottom of the cover off of the seat.

He really hates the car seat so on top of kicking the bottom part off he grabbed the side and started to pull at it as well and eventually pulled about a third of the cover off of the seat into his lap.
Although the concept is great it's too bad that there wasn't a better way to secure it to the seat. I also think that it would be nice to have either some Velcro or some sort of attachment that you could undo the zipper a little bit and fold the middle section down to make the hole bigger while keeping it attached so that it doesn't fly back in their face.

I bought this and one pink camo cozy cover for my twins. They cover the car seats well, stay on well and keep my twins nice and warm. I was surprised at how water resistant they were because the material didn't feel as thick as I though it would but it worked great nonetheless. I would buy these again. Can you make Star Wars theme covers??

I didn't receive what I was expecting like the picture they have the cozy fleece and keeps baby warm and comfy. I got just a simple cover with out the cozy fleece

I am about 34 weeks pregnant (due at the end of November, so it'll be super cold here). I looked at these car seat covers locally, but even on sale/clearance most were $30+. I had this one on my Amazon registry and ended up purchasing it for myself - for less than half the price of the local options. I am so impressed by the quality! The outside is quilted material that is just a little bit slick to be weatherproof. The inside is a super cozy fleece. The flap has velcro so you can stick it open if you want to be able to see the baby. I would definitely purchase this again! I love it!
