Good cleaner for jetted tubs

We used the Yuk Tub System Cleaner in our jetted tub in a house we purchased. We did not have a lot of residue after cleaning, so we assume the previous owners kept the tub clean. Before using, the water had a slight discoloration, but after use, it was sparkling clean.
We appreciate the way the side of the bottle indicates 4 oz intervals -- the amount to be used for each cleaning. Customer service contacted us to be sure we received the cleaner promptly and that we were satisfied with the product. We had ways to contact someone directly should we encounter difficulties with the product.

It Works, but...

I have a 15 year old Ultra Thermo-Masseur jetted tub. The jets are very small, unlike the traditional Jacuzzi tub that have large jets. I think this is a good product but depending on the degree of built up in the lines of the tub you may need more then one bottle or even the gallon size. My tub has a lot of built up and I had to run the cycle through several times, and I'm still getting black flakes and gunk coming out. I've tried using laundry detergent first, before using Oh Yuk as one of the reviews suggested. I even used vinegar and baking soda, but I still have the black flakes when I turn it on. I haven't used the jets on this tub for quite some time because of this problem. I didn't even know until recently that there were products like this on the market. My instruction manual that came with this tub said to use vinegar. I still recommend this product, and will probably order more. My tub is just severely clogged because or poor maintenance instructions and not having the correct cleaning products.

We don't use our whirlpool tub very often and I clean it periodically with the bleach/dish soap home remedy. Somebody made a comment that this was not getting the pipes clean so I ordered Oh Yuk. It sure brought out some yucky stuff. I used it twice, running clean water in between, and that seemed to do the job. The last full tub of hot, clear water stayed clean. Works for me.

So far so good. This product dislodged a huge amount of yech on first use. Will try again in 2 months and see if any more releases.
Background: 20 years ago, against advice, I used some bath oil balls in my jetted tub. Ever since then, I would get brown flakes in water when I went to use the tub. I'd have to run a bath, dislodge whatever would come out, drain and run again, usually with acceptable results. Hopefully, this cleaning product will finish the job. I'm optimistic as it dislodged a whole lot more yech than I've been able to release to date.
Fingers crossed. I'll update in two months.

We ran this through our tub after purchasing a house built in 1996. We saw a little bit of gunk come out of the lines. It wipes right off the side of the tub with ease. I do know for a fact the previous owner only used the tub 5 times so this may be why our was so clean. I only used half the bottle on our tub and gave the rest to my parents for their tub. Theirs is rarely used as well but had quite a bit of gunk come out of the lines. We think this is from the previous owners. This stuff loosens up all the gunk (body oil, soaps, other things) from the lines so it can be washed down the drain or wiped off the sides of the tub. NOTE - both tubs had crystal clear water before and after using this product. Just be sure to flush the lines when you are finished. If your tub is really dirty, or if you use yours frequently, you may want to purchase the big bottle so you can do multiple or annual treatments.
