Great unit and great customer service, so far...
K. Harris•March 22, 2017
Spent a lot of time reviewing the different Elliptical machines. Consumer Reports, Google, Amazon, this model seemed to float to the top. Shopped around for best price and Amazon one. After ordering it the manufacture put it on sale for $259 less, but there was no way out because it had been shipped. Box arrived on time. They said they would only deliver it to the curb, but driver backed his tractor trailer in our driveway and put the box into our garage. So 5 stars for delivery. Assemble went very well. One cover was cracked. I called customer service, slightly fearful because of some of the negative reviews. I was told I was number 2 in the queue. Seconds later I was talking to Shane. Because I had registered on line, it took less than 60 seconds for Shane to tell me he would have it shipped out today or the next day. He then volunteered some basic maintenance tips. Unit appears very well built, it runs very smoothly. I am very excited and hope to update my review after I have put a month of daily operation on it. My only negative so far is missing the manufacturers sale that would have saved some big dollars.
Great near gym quality eliptical

Great near gym quality eliptical. The programming is a little cumbersome, but not a big deal. The fan isn't great as mentioned in other reviews, but sweating is why I bought the machine in the first place. A really smooth workout on a tight machine. By the way, I torqued all metal to metal connections to avoid issues others had with squeeking.
Love this. Had the E25 for 3 years

Love this. Had the E25 for 3 years, which I loved, but had to give to a friend before a cross-country move. So this time I upgraded to the E35 and it's even better. The double-rails in the back make for a much smoother, safer-feeling ride. The extra weight in the flywheel will hopefully provide a little more challenge (when I get back in shape enough to push its limits). The crazy looking handlebars provide more options for hand placement. So far so good!
Just like at the gym

An unusually well put together piece of machinery engineered (?) and constructed in Taiwan ( you know, that place next to China that tries harder ).
The directions are clear and concise. When you reach a point where an issue crops up about how to put something together that befuddles you, low and behold there's a built-in solution to your problem already included. I actually had more trouble putting the plastic pieces on when the machine was finished than any other area of construction. This is a well thought-out unit- a pleasure to assemble.
Once together and having used the lube Sole provides on the recommended areas the machine is now being used daily. It is quiet, solid and the incline feature adjustment and control panel give the user complete control of the workout operation. There's a built in fan and along with a slew of personal settings and features. Without a doubt a great deal of quality for the money spent. Add buying it through Amazon with Prime membership
providing free shipping, and the whole process of purchase and construction becomes a most pleasant experience.
The machine is heavy ( 250lbs ) so make sure it's placed on a very solid surface that will not flex. And with someone on it the height requirements could be close to seven feet- depending on the user again. The length of the unit is close to eight feet and the width is a little over two feet so plan the area for set-up accordingly ( mine is set-up in the garage ). Oh, and make sure you have a tube of Ben-Gay ready for after that first workout. That's the only thing Sole doesn't include in this comprehensive exercise package { although I have a feeling that that just might be corrected with the next order 8-}.

Now that I've had it for a year, I can say that I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Definitely not the most affordable elliptical out there, but this is as close to gym quality that you are going to get for a home elliptical. I am 6'1" and 215lbs. I can easily go over 70 rpm with no issues. The stride is just right and the pedals have some up and down adjustment. I would have like side to side adjustment of the pedals. The unit is very stable. I have no weird sounds or wobbling. The heart monitor strap works everytime and it seems to be very accurate and responsive. I have no use for the fan or the speakers, but for those that like those extras they are there. I don't think they add any value to the unit. I think assembly is best with two people and I would recommend using your own tools when possible since the tools included are flimsy. Not too hard to assemble, but it is time consuming, plan for a couple of hours.
