This is the second fob I have gotten. Neither have lasted a full year. They will stop working and will not work anymore after replacing the battery. Last one I bought was purchased July 2017. We are March2018 and this one has gone out also. No matter how many times, or different people I have try and re program it.

Worked great and very easy to program. Bought in May, died in January. Approx 15.00. I'd say it's worth the chance. Dealership wants over 200

Stopped working within a month. I changed the battery and still won't remotely open the doors now.

After receiving the key fob I programmed it my 2005 silverado successfully, but shortly after I notice that it start and stopped working sporadically. For example one moment I would engage the lock button on the fob and hear the truck lock with the horn, and then at other times I would press the same lock button without any response from the truck. To ensure my truck is still working properly I use the OEM fob that came with the truck, I had to reprogram at the same time to include Keyecu fob, and it worked perfectly and OEM does not have any issues and working as designed. In summary from my experience the Keyecu replacement fob DOES NOT perform as a OEM replacement and I considered this a loss on my part. I hope other customers are having better results with the company.
