My spouse has Alzheimer's and is in a Nursing Facility. He fidgets constantly. And he misses our dogs. I got this for the two reasons above. It's a Christmas gift so don't know how he likes it. It is very soft and well made. I think this is a good product.

My Papa seems to be enjoying it a great deal, which is all that matters to me. Could you make this yourself for less money? Absolutely.
In addition to having a grandfather with severe dementia, I am also a special education teacher, and can add the same sentiment about this item for my students with sensory needs - $50 is a lot to spend on a rolled up blanket with some fidget toys sewn in, and I wish the price of items essential to adding to the quality of life of our loved ones was more reasonable. This item is not worth the cost in my opinion, but cost doesn't matter when it comes to my family or my kids, and I guess that's how they get me ;)
