Does not hold the 3/8" rope at all...Maybe need to go to 1/2".
I've got it set to around 50 feet of rope and was able to easily anchor in 25 feet of water

Finally got this setup with my anchor. I've got it set to around 50 feet of rope and was able to easily anchor in 25 feet of water. Was nice not having to use all 150 feet of rope in shallower water. Very easy to pull rope up on the fly to shorten the length as well. Holds on to rope very securely and doesn't allow excess rope out. Pushing the button easily allows more rope to be released as desired.

I love these Danik-Hooks. There's no reason to anchor without them. They make it so much faster and easier to anchor and untie when done. They're especially helpful if you have limited cleat space but even if you had all the cleats in the world, why bother tying off when you can just clip on?
