Nice toilet seat, uneven feet.
William V. Derr•November 13, 2017
I purchased this to replace a similar seat from another company with plastic hinges that had broken in less than a year. The metal hinges and three year warranty for this seat are what attracted me. Installation wasn't too difficult, and the seat looks and feels great.
My concern is with how the seat sits on the toilet. There are four "feet" under the seat that are meant to rest on the rim of the toilet, but only the front feet actually make contact. When you sit down on the seat it makes a creaking sound as the seat or hinges flex to allow the back feet to rest on the toilet. Over time I can foresee this causing the screws to pull out of the toilet seat or causing a stress fracture in the metal of the hinges.
If all four feet rested on the toilet as intended, this would be a rock solid toilet seat.

Chlid seat slams during slow close
John•February 20, 2017
Pretty disappointed with the slow close on this toilet seat. The first thing I noticed was when the lid is closing slowly, the child seat disconnects from the lid of the seat and slams down because the magnet isn't strong enough to keep a hold on the child seat (which does not bode well with sleeping children). From an aesthetics perspective, we have owned this seat for a month and a half and the Topseat logo has almost entirely disappeared/faded. Thirdly, the chromed metal hinges are very prevalent, which makes it look more like a commercial-use toilet seat rather than one you would find in a home. This is more personal preference, so you may like the look of it, but I really don't care for it.
I love this! Would buy it over and over.

I really love this potty seat. The Magnet that holds the child's sized seat is very strong and won't let the child seat fall down. I really like that when an adult or guest opens the toilet they are not bothered with the child's seat, but my two year old knows it's there and can pull it down himself. This type of potty seat is so much more convenient to me and more sanitary than the ones you have to remove and store somewhere near the toilet. I am very pleased with this purchase and will reccomend it to all of my friends! I would like to even purchase one of these for my dad's house, and our church for my two year old as we spend a lot of time there. If you can't tell, I seriously can't say enough good things about this potty seat option! Another thing I love is that the toilet seat and lid close slowly so when my son pushes them down, there is no chance of slammed lids or fingers. Great great product!
Easy to install
KS•September 20, 2016
Easy to install. Fit was great! Whisper close is awesome. No slammed fingers. I'm a clean freak, so after reading reviews about these types of seats trapping pee between the 2 seats with little boys...I was a little worried, but he makes a much bigger mess when he tries to dump the small plastic Elmo potty "stuff" into the big toilet. This seat is really well constructed and I'm picky about quality. Nothing makes me more annoyed than the poor construction of everything these days. I'm nutty about textures and the entire seat is smooth. Metal hinges appear to be of high quality. I believe you get what you pay for and this seat far exceeded my expectations.
Another bonus to this is now I no longer have to clean and dumb that little potty either

If you have little ones and small bathrooms, this is a game changer. I have tiny bathrooms. By installing this seat, I no longer need to keep the bulky kid potty on the floor. Another bonus to this is now I no longer have to clean and dumb that little potty either! My son didn't miss a beat switching from the kid potty to using this seat. He opens and closes it all on his own with no issues. I would definitely recommend this to all parents!
