I'm still shocked at what an amazing deal this was. Anyone who uses this stuff knows how expensive it can be. I prefer to use clear (if you have ink, you don't need all the colors!) so this was perfect for me. I purchased a big plastic container with a lid, attached a spoon, poured in 2 jars, and now I can use it whenever. No refilling it back into the jars! I have purchased 4 of these so far as it was such a great deal! Quality is perfect. Nice superfine powder, leaves a nice gloss, heats as it should. Highly recommend! This is a BIG jar compared to the itty bitty ones you find, or even the 1oz!

I love, love this embossing powder! It is a very good value. Huge jar - a lifetime of embossing powder for me. The jar was filled so full, it was hard to put the remaining powder from an application back into the container. It is a very fine powder and I find it difficult to "sprinkle" onto my project from the jar, so I use a small spoon. I love the results on detailed sentiment die cuts. Very shiny or glossy, but not sparkly.

I bought the clear so I can add my own alcohol inks to make colors. You get a big jar of it and I could make tons of different colors with my alcohol inks. You get a nice thickness of embossing if you use versamark instead of rangers clear stamp pad. It barely stuck to the Rangers brand.
To make different colors, just add a few drops of alcohol ink to a small portion, stir and let it dry. Then use as you would normally. Are used the unicorn alcohol inks and they worked wonderful.

This being my first experience with embossing, I found this fine powder really easy to work with and a very nice finish. I'm glad I got a fine powder. I would recommend it as it's a large amount and will last a while. Also, you really only perhaps need a gold or silver powder as any color you stamp with, and then use this clear powder, will give you great results. (I was happy with my results!)
