Does as advertized, wish the power cord had the transformer inline not at the plug, other than that it works great.

This product simply fell apart when I tried to assemble it with my drive. I've had a few similar products from other manufacturers before with no issue. Maybe I received a lemon, but it's useless. Wires came out. It wouldn't stay together.

Easy to install my drive from damaged housing to this one and my data was not lost.

Nothing special to write -- it's a hard drive carrier. It works well for what it is. Having USB 3.0 is a plus for data transfer rates.

This is a very simple case to use with a SATA hard drive, to convert it to a USB external drive. The only reason I went down to four stars for this review is that there are no air vents in the case. That means when the enclosed hard drive runs, it gets pretty warm. Thankfully, the case includes an on/off button, so that when you don't need to actually be accessing the drive from your computer, you can turn the drive off and let it "regain its cool."
The drive came in a good solid box, with everything organized and well-wrapped. It was easy to put together, and it's very solid. It's just the ventilation thing that would concern me, for someone who had to have the drive going all day, every day.
