While self assembly is not something I look forward to this was actually pleasant. The instructions were very simple and concise and the process took about an hour. It's exactly as described and I had no issues. One part did have some scratches but it was a bottom piece so that doesnt really bother me. The desk is very sturdy and the design is modern and simple which is all I need for my art supplies. I enjoy it I would recommend it and I would purchase from this seller again.

The shipping box arrived with several gouges. Our desktop had a tear in the writing surface laminate, but, oddly, the bottom (unmarred) surface was the one facing the outside of the box. The pre-drilled holes for the footrest were opposite from where they needed to be on one of the desk legs - someone must've been asleep at the welder - so we had to drill out a new hole ourselves. Such a pain to ship a large package back and potentially have a replacement arrive with issues, so we patched it up ourselves. Sturdy and serviceable after our repairs. Just remember you get what you pay for.

Comes broken down in a lot of pieces. Had a few problems where the pre-made screw holes did not line up, and the metal expanders inside the stool fell through, so you need to have some of your own spare parts around if needed to make the repairs so it will work. Over-all it's a nice work table for the price. The stool is short, 18 inches tall. I will have to shop around for something a little taller.
