a nice looking instrument, however after 9 months it no longer works with my amp. When it first arrived, I loved it - it is fun to plan, nice action and I've hardly had to tune it in months. Also, the shipping was faster than I ever expected, and the Uke arrived in good condition. I played it amplified for months, but I went to plug it in for a gig last month and it doesn't work. I emailed the seller who responded quickly, but is not in a position to help me - said it was a technical issue that needs to be addressed by the manufacturer. I have asked for contact info, but they have not provided it yet. I had my music guy look at it and his opinion is that its something in the circuit board, and thinks that the repair will be more expensive than buying a new uke......
Upside, it's a fun instrument for practicing without tormenting my family, and fun wall art, but not the instrument I was hoping for for over $200

I bought the Uke after trying and returning 2 different tenor Eleuke models. Both of them had a humm when amplified or connected to earphones. This is a concert Uke, fun to play, and no hum. Comes with minimal gig bag (no backpack straps) and a cable for running music through earphones for silent play along.

Was really hoping this sounded good because it looks amazing. unfortunately for me it only had looks. I tried it through a mixer board, my voice live 3 pedal, and my Fender Acoustic SFX amp but nothing made it sound like I thought it should. The G string and A string were definitely not as amplified as the C and E. I took it to my guitar tech and he said the only hope was replacing the piezo pickup which would be too expensive with no guarantee what the end result would be. Super bummed.....

This Ukulele is AWESOME! Very well made. My account doesn't show me as a verified owner of this gem because my wife actually bought this for me on her account for my birthday, but I added a picture of my wall of ukes to prove that I do indeed own this. Let's start from the beginning. Takes a little while to ship because it does come from China but well worth the wait. (and it didn't really take all that long). First thing you notice is how great it looks, and then you pick it up. Weighs more than I thought it would but I like that, it is solid wood and feels very sturdy. 9 volt battery in the rear compartment is actually a very good design. I have yet to replace the battery after the initial install. I waited a few months before writing this review because I truly wanted to see how well it plays and stands up with my collection. This is my favorite Ukuele of all my ukes, and as you can see in the picture, I have a few. Love the Tenor size but that is just my preference. This Uke stays in tune!! I have one other Fender Uke that stays in tune as well as this. Once the strings are broken in, it's almost a set it and forget it. I paired it with Behringer Ultracoustic amp and the sound is amazing. Works great when I am practicing in stealth mode when the wife is sleeping by using a good set of headphones as well. This is truly a great instrument. If you are on the fence about spending the money, DO IT ! You won't regret it. Attached is a picture of my Ukes with my favorite in the middle.
