Use a strong power source and 4000k is not Warm, it is white though

I bought this based on the picture of Warm White but they are far too cool colored, not a good accent or mood light. They aren't that almost blue Daylight color that keeps you up all night so it's still good for lighting an office desk or something. They have lots of LEDs so 12v 1amp or even 12v 2amp isn't enough, make sure you use more like even 12v 5amp otherwise they flash and start blinking indicating low power supply. Even though I dislike the color, I won't return them because I can ALWAYS use more lights. These are going inside the shed plugged into a motion activated outlet.
careful about the backing tape

So, i tested when they arrived and all was good. Installed on a metal rail under my car and they worked but the adhesion was poor as other have said, so i used zip-ties to secure them. when i installed the second string of lights, i noticed that the adhesive actually came off the lights. you have to very carefully remove the plastic liner on the tape without removing the tape from the lights. Well, the first set burned out instantly as soon as i turned them on, because the contacts were on the metal rail. the second set stuck very well, still working and look great. now i have to order another to replace the first. Be very deliberate when removing the protective cover from the tape. the tape wants to come off the lights easily. Not like any others that I've used. the protective cover is the same thickness as the tape so it's easy to miss it.
