The product came rolled in the box, so had to leave it lay flat for about 2 days. Also, smell isn't very pleasant, but after a couple of days it was fine. I love this for my hardwood floors and I bought the larger one so the chair has plenty of room to roll around on. I hope it will last for years!
Works well, will get another one for our second desk.

This is the second floor mat I bought, and it's much better than the first (which was more expensive, a different brand, I returned that one). This one unrolled after delivery and stayed flat, and doesn't slide around too easily - but I can slide it when I want to. It doesn't have any plastic smell, and isn't very noticeable on our hardwood floor. It has no color or tint, just some texture. I'll buy another one of these for my wife's desk.
