When in need of meal and no time to eat! Or in need of a low cal meal! The protein in this tasty treat that I started drinking after a major dental procedure- I still use! Tastes great and fills me up! Not like other Ensure- Ensure Clear is like a juice. Can even mix with seltzer for more hydration.

Bought once, i'll stick with the chocolate original or the Chocolate Enlive (which is much thicker than the original).
This is better for someone who has problems consuming dairy products.

If you have problems gaining weight, drink the Ensure Enlive and you'll pile it on in no time.

My wife has a medical condition that prevents her stomach from moving the foods she eats through her stomach and into her digestive tract. Her physicians originally had her on a "liquids only" diet, with protein shakes and cream soups providing the only nutrition she could have for almost one year, but she continued to empty even the liquid contents of her stomach through emesis an hour or two after she drank or ate her liquid diet foods. Her physician said she could try adding some more easily digested "regular" foods as she felt she could tolerate them. Her emesis of the foods she ate continued. Soon she couldn't even drink the protein shakes, which she said seemed to "sour" in her stomach quickly after she drank them. We learned about the Ensure Clear Nutrition Drinks and purchased a four-pack of the Blueberry-Pomegranate flavor and a four-pack of the Mixed Berry flavor Ensure Clear drinks. She found the Mixed Berry flavor to be "sweeter" than she liked, but she liked the Blueberry-Pomegranate flavor very well. We keep 4 or 5 of the Ensure Clear bottles in the refrigerator (which isn't necessary while the product has not been opened) because she feels it improves the taste, and she pours the Ensure Clear Nutrition Drink over ice when she drinks it. The Blueberry-Pomegranate flavor has been very difficult to find locally, so we were very happy when I found it available for sale in 12-bottle cases on Amazon.com. We don't know how long it may take before her physician is able to find the right treatment to cure her condition, or at least limit her emesis of what she eats to 3 or 4 times a week. But until then, for now, Ensure Clear Nutrition Drink in the Blueberry-Pomegranate flavor (or the Mixed Berry flavor mixed with POM Blueberry-Pomegranate Juice) can provide her with the nutrients she needs and helps keep her hydration at a level that keeps her able to function properly from day to day.
