Was looking for a cheap newer class router. Had a E1200 that I think is an N router that had served us for a few years. Our provider speed is 100mb and over wifi picked up 134mb 5ft in front of the router that is what direct plug in speed was as well. The dual band is nice had to play around with the rooms furthest away as to what band worked best. Our house is an L shape so those rooms have a tough time getting signal anyway. Added a gigabit switch to keep the routers port use down to one to feed the switch and plan to hard wire the two far bedrooms. I would suggest everyone get a switch to take the load off the router the more to plug in the hotter they get and they will crash from over heating.
Great customer service. Router overheats.

This router overheated and kept shutting down/disconnecting every hour or so. The seller gave me a full refund and was courteous and prompt.
A few days later, I pulled it back out of the garbage, tore it apart and after some cutting, measuring and soldering, i installed a fan under the top silver bezel. It wasn't easy to get this thing apart. Use an old credit card, not a metal tool. Some clips still broke but it went back together okay.
I have read many other reviews about this heat issue. If you're willing to do the extra work, it's a decent router. I haven't had to reset it in months.
Solder the fan power wires to the back of the power plug. Make sure you have correct polarity and a grounded iron.

If this is your first router then you should be fine. Espicaly if you find it on sale.
I was replacing a 4 year old router. To my surprise, this router
was over half the speed of my original router. Direct wire speed test
showed a drop from 50Mbps down to 3Mbps downloads.

Also it took over 45 min to set up the router. I eventually had to hard reset it with the
reset button and start over before everything linked up correctly.

I may have gotten a bad one.
Be ware.
