I have been using the smaller Boveda packs for almost a year now. I honestly am a thrilled & satisfied user of these wonderful little 2 way humidity packs. Up until now I had been using the Boveda 62-Percent RH 2-Way Humidity Control, 8 gram - 10 Packs but what I really don't like about them is
1) The size, (I was using 2-3 in my lg airtight container)
2) The fact that they all come in one pack & once you open it, they all start drying out. It says that they will last up to 2 years if you keep it Zipped closed"¦but it's a farce.. lol, once you open that pack they start going downhill"¦ 6 months"¦yea but 2 years"¦ not so much.

Because of this, I figured I would give the bigger ones a shot. One of the things I love about the 12 pack of these is that they are individually sealed. THIS IS AWESOME!!! This means that the ones I'm not using will last a much longer time for backups. (And I have extra to share"¦lol, I have already given 2 away. I actually love turning people on to these.) One of the best things about these is that they are super simple to use, just toss it in"¦ when it's getting solid & crunchy feeling, just replace it with a new one. So far these preform just as well as the ones I have been using. The 62% RH are perfect to preserve herbal medicines to ensure potency, protect flavor & maintain the perfect level of humidity for storing longevity. What does this really mean, plain & simple?"¦ sustained freshness, and it's a beautiful thing! You can't beat that. You can get these in a variety of different RH %'s so if you need to adjust your container or humidor levels for different needs, you can just go up or down. Also, they are not just good for maintaining the freshness of your Tabaco or herbal medicines. With their verity of RH% they can also be used for food storage or maintaining wood instruments. They actually have special ones for guitars in a fabric pouch.

Not only would I recommend these, but I already have recommended them to a number of people. If you are not sure"¦ at least try just 1.. you wont be disappointed.
Boveda 62-Percent RH Retail Cube Humidifier/Dehumidifier, 60gm, 12-Pack

Boveda is easily the easiest and most solid possible solution in humidification options. Have used several different types of humidification, and while Heartfelt beads are incredible, these don't require the same kind of maintenance and definitely offer the most worry-free easy humidification option possible. The trade off is the price being higher over time... If you aren't worried about that aspect, just buy these and thank me (and Boveda) later.

I have a Taylor guitar that I bought new in the late 80's that is more than sensitive to being humidified. It's the only guitar I ever bought that came with a humidifier (old school). Let's just say that it's delicate and as it's my favorite stage guitar I have spent years trying to keep it humidified correctly. If it's not humidified it isn't playable. It's that simple. Since I started using the Boveda system I have had zero problems. I change the bags when they get lumpy and the guitar is sweet. I'm happy. I've read all the scary stories. If you use the Boveda saddle bag carriers and you watch out for the bag you should have no issues.

Cigar simplicity in a bag. I got tired of fighting with filling my humidifier with water and forgetting to do it and then having to wait for my cigars to get back to right temperature again. I throw two of these in my 50 cigar humidor and they last for months not weeks.

They are also great for my travel case as well. I put it in the bottom of my 15 cigar travel case and pack the cigars and I know I'm set for the week at the beach with no concerns.

Highly recommend for that find cigar smoking the hobby and not the cigar care taking.
