Most flashed, some didn't (approx 25% were non-functional). I wish I had heeded some of the other reviews and bought more than I needed for our party, because it's not fair when some kids' rings flash while others don't. Still, it's not a bad price for the number of functioning ones we got. And the flashy rings that work are very cool!

these are great, I took them to Mardi Gras as throws off our float in the Orpheus parade, and they were a BIG HIT, the only disappointment I had was that after sitting idle for 3 months, that did affect the battery life, and only four out of every five would light up. These items would be great for party favors, or use in nighttime concerts, very cool items, and I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing these

I have been buying bumpy flashing rings for trick-or-treaters for years. Sometimes, with other companies, the quality goes out the window. I just bought 2 orders of these rings from Fun Central. 1 order contained 99 rings and the other 97. Every ring I have tried has worked so far. There is a faint plastic smell, but NOT the gagging chemical smell of other bumpy rings. Quality probably won't last beyond the night, but they serve their function well. Cheaply lighting up little trick-or-treaters so cars/drivers can see them on the streets. Besides, the kiddos would rather get these rings than the same old candy anyway.

These were cute and worked well. However, the inability to shut them off made me take two whole stars (and contemplate a third one). Once they get turned on, there is no way to turn them off. To get them to turn on, you have to bump them, wiggle them, and sometimes bang them to get the batteries aligned (or whatever it is that makes them work). Once they are on, though, they are on for the duration. They do last over 24 hours, but not too much past that. Then they just become a land filler.
Many of the rings did not work!

I bought these for a slumber party and was very disappointed. The ones that worked were bright and fun but there were not many that worked. I wound up having to use 18 (out of 24) to get 9 that worked and even with those 9, some wouldn't turn off. I wouldn't waste your money!
