These literally are the only things that keep me from getting morning sick. I had used them with my first pregnancy and misplaced them over the past few years, now pregnant with my second I desperately needed them again. I wake up horribly nauseous every single morning and the second I put these on I can literally feel the clenched up muscle towards the top of my stomach relax, the only times I have actually been sick were when I wasn't wearing these, they're pretty much a 24 hour a day accessory right now. For those reviewers who say they didn't work, I recommend moving the "bead" part on the inside slowly up or down, left and right on the inner part of your wrist until you physically feel your stomach relax, there is a very specific point it needs to be on, you can't just put it anywhere on your wrist, that's the whole point of acupressure/acupuncture, I have to adjust mine a few times during the day but it becomes second nature and the more in tune with your body you are, the quicker you'll be able to get it in the right spot. Mine usually is about 2 inches below the bend in my wrist and just to the side or right on the tendons in my forearm that can be seen by clenching your fist. They can get a little itchy and do leave a ring around your wrists but it's well worth not getting sick.

I got these for morning sickness, and they do give a bit of relief. I won't say that they take the nausea away completely, but they do make me feel a bit more stable. The real magic came when I was on a flight with my husband last weekend. He suffers from serious anxiety on airplanes, a condition that gives him bad nausea (or so we thought). At a loss for what to do in the middle of a particularly bad anxiety attack two hours into a five hour flight, I peeled my sea-bands off and slapped them on his wrists. In the space of ten minutes his nausea and anxiety were gone. We've since taken three more flights and made sure that he had the bands on each time - as a result he hasn't suffered a bit. This is the first time he's been able to travel freely in years. It seems that he has been suffering from motion sickness this whole time and just thought that is was the anxiety giving him the nausea instead of the other way around. I have happily turned over my pair to him and ordered a new set for my morning sickness. We are believers!

I love these bands, they have really been a life savor.

I have an inner ear problem which gives me vertigo. With out these bands the vertigo is very disruptive in my life, flare ups everyday, and some that will last the full day. When I am having problems with my ear I put the bands on right away and the frequency of my vertigo is cut by 90%. If I do happen to keep vertigo while wearing the bands, I just apply some extra pressure on the knob for a few minutes and must of it goes away. I was also glad to find the bands here for half the cost that I pay for them in the store. The company was great to work with and i got the bands right away,.

I have not done any air travel or been on a boat since I learned of my ear problem so i can not tell you if the bands would help in the situation. I will be on a train in a few months so I am hoping to have a smooth trip. I can say that i am a long distance walker and have experienced vertigo due the motion of walking. Now that I walk with the bands, I do not have that issue.

I've always gotten horribly motion sick, sea sick and more recently, air sick. I've tried various remedies over the years. Ginger pills repeat on me and aren't super effective...probably because they only ease nausea, not dizziness. Dramamine works but makes me way too drowsy to function. Chewing gum is a joke.

Sea Bands, however, are wonderfully effective without side effects. They are easy to use. You just put them with the little plastic disc over the pressure point on your wrists (two finger lengths away from your palms). They are comfortable so I forget that I have them on. With them on I don't feel the slightest bit of nausea or dizziness. I have even been drunk on booze cruises without feeling sick! I have also washed them (air dry) and they still work perfectly. I've been using these for over ten years and have never had a pair unravel. I only replace them if I lose one or if the bands are feeling a little loose on my wrists (this takes a long time). I strongly recommend Sea Bands to anyone who suffers from any kind of motion sickness.

I have Ménière's disease, which is a neurological vestibular disorder that causes motion sickness all the time, even if I am not doing anything aside from walking and turning my head or painting at my easel. My brother in law told me about these a few months ago. His son uses him for car sickness and he thought they might help me as well. I have never had acupuncture, and know nothing about acupressure, but these do help. I was skeptical but they are a very simple, inexpensive way to prevent nausea from escalating into needing Zofran (RX). Go to YouTube and search for a tutorial on where exactly to wear them on the wrist. The spot where the balls rest, matters. And you must wear both at the same time. It feels weird to have something that snug on your wrist but you won't care when it helps. Don't be surprised when they leave marks on your skin. I try to take them off and give my wrists a rest if I need to wear them for a long stretch.

Here is how I am certain that they help me: I hadn't painted in a week because of nausea, but when I got these, I put them on and painted for an hour. Later that evening when I painted some more, I forgot to put these on again, and within ten minutes I had really bad motion sickness. So, they help prevent nausea but they help ease it too, if it is already coming on.
