This one seemed to be the best for my purposes
Amazon Customer•August 22, 2017
I just received the vacuum from Fed Ex this afternoon and I don't know a whole lot about vacuums but I did about a weeks worth of research about the differences in vacuums. This one seemed to be the best for my purposes. Just because you spend 600 or 700 dollars doesn't mean that one will work for you. I have mostly wood floors. This thing is one of the quietest vacuums I've heard and it works great on my wood floors. I haven't tried it on a throw rug yet. In my opinion this thing sucks. (in the best way possible)
Great Vac and very helpful customer service!

This is a great vacuum and backed by amazing customer service. A guest accidentally leaned the hose against our hot water heater. I needed a new one and messaged the link on Amazon. I heard back promptly, called and actually spoke with one of the owners. He directed me to Rose in Customer Service who is a gem! A new hose was on it's way within days. Thank you very much!
Great!

This is a power house of a vacuum. I have only used Rainbow vacuums for years. This is a great buy!
Super quiet, great for hardwood floors, not so good for rugs and dog hair
Timm Martin•January 11, 2017
Amazingly quiet, works great on hardwood floors, which cover our entire house. Unfortunately the carpet attachment didn't work well on a large area rug in our family room to pick up little white dog hairs, so we still use our old upright vacuum. This is the only rug/carpet in our house, so not a big deal. We had bought this vacuum from Amazon when it was on sale and the carpet attachment was essentially free, but if we had to pay the extra $50 for the carpet attachment like normal, we would've been unhappy. But for our hardwood floor house, this is a fantastic vacuum.

Works great, picks up waaaay more cat hair than my canister did. Easy to use, easy to steer, if you want the 'lawn type' stripes on your carpet you'll be disappointed, it doesn't do that. Nor is the head 'self propelled' so it takes a little more effort but it's worth it. Like the ability to adjust suction strength too. Very nice.
