Worked well for a few months.

Took a little work for my Xbox to recognize this hard drive but once it did, it worked great for about 8 months. Then it just stopped working all of a sudden. I shut down the xbox and removed the hard drive. I restarted then shut it down again and reinstalled the hard drive. It worked just well enough (after a very extended start up time) to move some of my saved games to a flash drive. I then formatted the hard drive and that seemed to fix it for about 20 minutes. Now I can't get anything of off it. Luckily I only moved my current game saved data to it the second time. I'm trying to get a replacement or refund. We'll see. For now I'm playing using a flash drive which seems to be working just fine.
Cheap knockoff that does not work. Look elsewhere.

After this I'd probably avoid Nextec.
Bought this as an upgrade for my spare 8gb Xbox 360. The drive arrived well enough, but I was surprised to find a "warranty" sticker over the connector of the drive. It turns out that this company is trying to pull a fast one with a sticker that reads "Amazon Returns Serial Once removed item can only be returned directly to the seller". By putting it over the connection that precludes my ability to test the drive. I hooked it up with the transfer cable and found the connection wobbly and tight. I did get it hooked up and the drive worked. I transferred my content then hooked the drive up to my xbox in place of the 8gb. The new drive does not recognize. The xbox does not read the drive at all.
The original drive on my xbox 360 has a rock solid connection. As does the 120 gb drive on my other one. This one is not only wobbily, but the internals move around just touching them with my finger, and it's oddly sized. Slightly larger in length than the official drive.
This product screams shoddy knock off. Best take your money elsewhere. I'd also recommend Amazon remove their "Amazon Choice" rating from this product.
Looking at the top of the drive I can see that the metal sticker that reads "320GBHDD" is slightly bent and crumpled as through it was removed and placed on this drive. Possibly a remanufacture or upgrade. If so it's better you just go to youtube and figure out how to upgrade your own drive with a 2.5 Hard drive.
