At the suggestion of my locksmith, purchased two of these, one for our front door & one for my bedroom. Luckily, the one on my bedroom door has held up, but the one on the front door did not even last a year. Any turning of the outside latch unlocks it. I have tried numerous times to work with it, according to the Kaba troubleshooting guide, and also have tried to "reset" the combination -- nothing works. I would not purchase again.

It works fine!
Failed after only 2 years. Lousy warrantee is only 1 year. Kaba failed to stand behind their product.

We had one of these locks that failed to open by the combination after only 2 years. Since their warrantee is only 1 year, Kaba wanted me to buy a new chamber. So I will NEVER buy another Kaba product because it as unreliable and Kaba failed to stand behind their product.
