This rug exceeds my expectations!

I bought this rug to fit in my dog crate. My dog has eaten every plush bed I've given him, so we're down to just blankets for him now. I needed to get something to line the bottom of his crate though, because his nails on the plastic is one of those spine tingling sounds.
I cannot believe how perfectly this rug fits into his crate! It's like they were made for each other. I wanted to go with an industrial rug in hopes that it would be more durable and easy to clean. The fibers are surprisingly soft, like a soft tennis ball.
There was definitely a lot of off gassing, even a week later. I don't have an outdoors space to lay this out so I put it under a window with the fan on. I'm pretty sensitive to fumes and this gave me a bad headache. By the next morning, the fumes were much better. However, I think I'll wait another few days before actually putting it in the dog crate.

I have a number of these mats that i bought when my aging dog was slipping on the hard floors in my house. These gave her some sure-footedness and me some peace of mind.
