Very uncomfortable.

Strong and sturdy but the seat was VERY uncomfortable. I only used it a couple of times and only in my apartment. No way I could use it out and about.

A little difficult to put together, but I got it done. I probably would only use it around my neighborhood and the house. I live in a walk up apartment so bringing it up and down the stairs is climber some.
Steerable Seated Scooter
JHay56•March 2, 2017
The seated knee rover was the perfect fit for my wife to be able to get around with her broken ankle. When we tried the other version of the knee scooter, we discovered it inflicted pain due to a hairline fracture between the ankle and knee, so this was an outstanding alternative. The handle bars adjust vertically and fold over for storage. The seat adjusts vertically and can be offset for the comfort of the user. The basket didn't work in that it sits too low to accommodate a cast resting on the foot peg. Moving over carpet is challenging and the user should wear a shoe to gain better traction when using the good foot to propel the scooter around the house.
The kids trike bike

I purchased this bike because i had total knee replacement. Its not electric so dont let the wires fool you from the pics. It is easy to put together and the seller is great. I do think the price is a little high seeing this is nothing more than a bike you push with your feet like a rollinator except your sitting down. The seller i give 5 stars to but the product i give 4 stars to as it feels like an adults my first trike bike. From back when you was a child learning to push a bicycle with your feet. And if you have a knee replacement will not beable to do this. It does have a handy basket and it is everything described in the pics but pushing it is harder than you think if your leg is hurt.
5 stars when compared to a regular knee walker

I had to have surgery on my foot so I rented a knee walker. It was unstable and rickety. And since I had to put my bad knee on the pad, it hurt my knee. I really didn't want to buy one, but I found this scooter and I'm really happy with it. It's much more stable than the rental I tried and since you're seated, your center of gravity is lower and you feel more secure. It's also way more comfortable; if you have a bad knee that you would have to lean on, this is the way to go.
It's a little scary on the sidewalk, especially going up and down ramps and going over cracks. But it's not as scary as being up high on your knee. It also has more forgiving yet sturdier wheels than a knee walker. It has a parking brake that works just ok. It puts a lot of tension on the wheels. I did go out for a scoot once with it on and got to where I was going with some difficulty, so just be sure you check if it's on before you go. It's the little metal peg on the right handle bar.
Some people have complained about the turning radius, but you need to keep the foot of your bad leg on the peg in the front under the handle bars and you need to be safe and not tip over. So it's not going to have a great turning radius, but none of them are. I only gave this item 4 stars because of the flaws that I think are inherent with this type of vehicle. If you compare it to others like it, it gets 5.
