Easy and simple and does the job
Wendy S. Fisher•June 30, 2018
Bought this for my father a few years ago, he has wet macular degeneration, and he loves it! People ask him about it all the time, after hearing it, and he is proud to have it at age 90. Despite some memory issues, he quickly finds the date or time, so no issues there! Easy and simple and does the job... never off on time either! Great watch!
fun gimmick!

cute, functional and fun. Pain in the rear to set up. but once you got it (which could take a few days) works fine. But watch out for time change. as it does not update when the time changes from standard to daylight or reverse. You have to manually re set it, which could take a day or two once you figure out how to do that! instructions leaves you somewhat confused.
Bad Choice
Denice Bee•April 10, 2016
I bought this watch for my blind father-in-law. Not only is the face too small, but it did not come with instructions. He lives in Indiana. When we try to set it to Indiana time, it automatically goes back one hour. The Atomic clock does not appear to understand Indiana is in a daylight saving zone. It is useless to him. I will be sending it back. Seriously, how can it be worse? Do not buy.
Talking Watch is Okay--the Watchband is Not So Great!
TotallyOnHolliday•January 18, 2016
For the money, this male voice talking watch falls a little short. The first time my spouse put the watch on, the stretchy band broke! Also, instructions to set up watch on the satellite was long and tedious. At the point where I was ready to give up, it decided to align itself, then still took about 30 minutes to arrive at the correct time. The instructions leave a little to be desired.
The right watch for visually impaired woman, with just one slight flaw
AmazonBS•January 30, 2015
The watch was much better than we expected. Though it was large, as some reviews said, that size was fine for the 90 year old woman using it and the band was the right looseness for getting the watch on and off easily. Setting it was no problem and she learned how to operate it easily. The voice was loud and clear enough for her to hear the time, though the voice is a bit crackly. It's also good that there are separate buttons for time and date, rather than the shared button on other watches; and both are set automatically. The only disadvantage of the watch is that she cannot easily tell whether she is putting it on right side up, as with her eyesight she cannot see the face well. The buttons are symmetrically placed so that is no help either. We will probably try a piece of tape or equivalent to help her out. But on the whole, this turned out to be a great product for the recipient and a welcome way for her to know the time.
